Join us on Thursday, March 3, 2016 to hear inspirational stories from the 2015 Outstanding Alumni Award recipients who have made exceptional contributions to their local and global communities:Margaret Trudeau, a mental health and clean water advocateDr.

Diwali, the festival of lights, is celebrated in India and around the world. Over 300 South Fraser business, government and community leaders, as well as SFU alumni, faculty, students and staff attend this annual event, featuring South Asian performances and cuisine.

This event raises funds to support SFU students to gain experience working and volunteering in cities and villages throughout India.

Cost: $75 per person, $600 for a table of 8

The SFU Faculty of Health Sciences is celebrating a decade of achievements and planning for our future. Join us for a feature panel that brings together three dynamic perspectives that are shaping the field of health sciences globally. Following the panel, participants will have the opportunity to attend sessions led by Health Sciences faculty. Program 9:30am - 10:15am: Registration and continental breakfast. 10:15am to 10:30am: Welcome ceremony by Indigenous Leader William Lindsay.
